The first days of my journey.

What have I done? I volunteered to take on this task, this diplomatic mission, but…what will I do? This is my first time on such a quest, and I have taken it on all alone…why…

Yet—no, father sent Kent with me. He has experience in the role of a diplomat. But now, wasn’t that experience in the conquered lands? What is the nature of his experience? Can he function in a non-military context? Might this not bring trouble? Oh…I have to ask; we will see.

I made this while brainstorming ideas to improve the first section of The Solune Prince. It adds some worries for Chloe, and some skills to Kent’s backstory.
