Table of Contents: Harry Potter

About the Reviews

My background when it comes to Harry Potter is that I have no childhood experience. Last year, I watched the first two movies and I thought they were okay. This isn’t about the movies though, this is about the books.

I just recently started reading Harry Potter at the age of twenty, the first of Harry Potter that I’d ever read. These reviews come from the perspective of someone with experience studying the English canon, writing essays using critical theory, and with no nostalgia. They might be of value to someone looking for a fair review of the novels.

I think the first thing I listened to was The Lost World by Michael Crichton. Then, I figured since I had forty hours a week, I would listen to Harry Potter. I’ll keep it short about that. Harry Potter was a disappointment, stick with the movies. For more info, check out my reviews. […]
