It is important for anyone who wishes to do something useful with their lives to look ahead. If you don’t know where you’re going, you’ll never get there. That’s a quote, right? Can I find an image somewhere for that?

Alright, cool. While researching, I learned that his is actually a paraphrase from Alice and Wonderland when she is talking to the Cheshire Cat. I like it a lot, so here it is.

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”

“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.

“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.

“—so long as I get SOMEWHERE,” Alice added as an explanation.

“Oh, you’re sure to do that,” said the Cat, “if you only walk long enough.”

So that’s pretty much it, either you plan, make a clear goal in life, maybe a few goals, or else you’re likely to end up nowhere, retiring having done nothing but survive. I came here to live, not survive.

But enough on all that. This is an update, not a rant on being successful! Today, I had to get up early, drive ten minutes into town and put a twenty into my bank account so that I wouldn’t get another charge from OSAP’s automatic payment thingy. (Student loans.) I’ve been a little out of it all day, at work and now at home writing, so I may or may not release something other than this today.

So, time to organize my thoughts.

Right now I have two things running on this blog. First is the Roleplay stories based loosely on my previous and also current tabletop RP games. The second is the Evidence series that focuses on Janna, and to a lesser extent Chloe.

Of course on top of that I’ll likely end up posting various one offs.

I haven’t been doing this long enough to have a constant schedule for the type of posts I’m releasing, so here’s how a reader might keep track of it all. The main piece I’m writing is the Evidence series. It’s probably going to be longer than I expected, and I’m okay with that. Next up will be one shots, as the Roleplay stories are mostly a backup in case of something like writer’s block.

Anyway, I need to shower and sleep and also to rearrange my room (might not do that one today.) I’ll see you tomorrow night, likely I will have something that’s actually fiction written then.
